今日はJapanese taro miso dressing(里芋の味噌あえ)を作りました。

《INGREDIENTS》
about 400g Japanese taros

1tbsp Miso
1tbsp Mirin

1tsp Soy sauce
1tsp Sugar

《INSTRUCTIONS》
1, Thoroughly scrub the soil off the taros.
2, Boil the taros until they are soft. Put in a colander to remove the heat.
3, When the taros cool down, peel and cut into bite-sized.
4, Combine the miso, mirin, soy sauce, and sugar in a small pan. Place over low heat, when the mixture comes to a boil, add and mix taros with combined seasonings.
(Add Yuzu peel as you like)

===Japanese taro===
Japanese taro, Satoimo is a kind of root vegetable and has sticky texture.
Satoimo is low in calories among tubers and roots. Also, it's rich in dietary fiber and vitamin C. 
You can enjoy the Satoimo simmered or fried.

 

里芋(サトイモ)
日本のサトイモは根菜の一種で、粘り気があります。
いも類の中では比較的カロリーが低く、さらに食物繊維やビタミンCも豊富です。
煮物でも揚げ物でも美味しいです。

 

 

If you like Japanese flavor, you can also make it with potatoes(potatoes miso dressing).
Fry the boiled potatoes with butter, and then mix with combined seasonings.
